Embroidery Thread
The thread used for embroidery is known as embroidery thread. The thread usually has a high sheen. Looser twists result in a higher sheen. Since they need to go in and out of the fabric several times, these threads need to be somewhat stronger. It is possible to embroider using rayon, cotton, polyester, silk, or any other thread made of polyester, rayon, cotton, or silk. Rayon and polyester are the threads used in machine embroidery.
A soft 2-ply embroidery thread with a higher shine is usually used for embroidery. In addition to the fact that embroidery threads are numbered differently, the sizes of the threads range from 30 to 60. The size 40 embroidery thread, for example, is finer than other threads.
